AAS- 'Asthma & Allergy Sensitive' Assessment & Claim Awarding

Usage

The AAS service is an integral but separate part of the Product Health Declaration (PHD) and HealthRATE assessment and certification service. Once the PHD and HealthRATE assessment processes are complete, the product ingredient list (assessed to 100ppm or 0.01%) is subjected to a compliance assessment for a further ~1000 banned ingredients from an international Association of experts in environmental toxicology. If it does not contain any of these recognised asthmagens or allergens, it is recognised with an additional 'Asthma and Allergy Sensitive' claim 'flag' on the bottom of the HealthRATE TAG included with the PHD. The AAS certification is to our knowledge, the only Standards-based service if its kind globally. Every PHD, HealthRATE & AAS claim is externally peer reviewed by a highly experienced and qualified consultant toxicologist.
