OmniGrip CST is a coloured surface treatment made from 1-3mm crushed Australian recycled-glass. Used as a slip and skid-resistant surface, it provides a long-life, low-maintenance coating on asphalt, spray seal, concrete, steel and wooden surfaces. It is used as the green surface in on-road bike lanes, red surface in bus lanes, yellow surface in pedestrian crossings and walkways, and in a wide range of colours in local government and architectural placemaking projects. OmniGrip CST has an expected service life of 5+ years on roads, and reduces the risk of microplastic pollution in waterways as competing pavement marking products wear away. OmniGrip CST is compliant with Austroads, State and Territory Specifications (eg Victoria's Standard Section 431, Queensland MRTS110), and is Level 3 TIPES Certified in Queensland. For TIPES Certification, 5 year old OmniGrip CST sites were assessed by the Australian Road Research Board and CSIRO who determined that they were still compliant with Specifications.
