PLIANTā¢ outsoles by Natural Fibre Welding (NFW) are the worldās first naturally cured, USDA-certified 100% biobased outsoles. PLIANTā¢ is made with natural rubber from responsibly managed trees. 70% of what is marketed as rubber today is synthetic (or in other words, made from fossil fuels), and even natural rubber is typically cured with petrochemicals. In a technological leap forward, PLIANTā¢ is naturally cured with NFWās revolutionary patented plant-based curative. This curative means that PLIANTā¢ outsoles are both recyclable and naturally circular ā PLIANTā¢ can safely and naturally return to the earth at end-of-life. PLIANTā¢ outsoles truly stand apart.

The same support you know and love, but kinder to the planet. Our new B.plantfoamā¢ footbed is made from 72% plant-based materials (USDA Certified Biobased). With a carbon footprint of 3.85 kg CO2e, it reduces CO2 emissions by 70% when compared to traditional petroleum-based footbeds.
