Corporate Citizenship has been a part of Ford Motor Company Legacy since shortly after Henry Ford opened his business in 1903.  Primarily, Henry Ford believed in lifelong education and demonstrated this by supporting schools that were built for his employees, and partnerships forged with learning institutions of his day.  In addition to education, he supported the sustainability of our environment, promoted safety and assisted communities.
