Europcar Develops The Green Charter

Respect for the environment has always been a key objective for Europcar International. In 2007, through partnership with our major associates and clients, Europcar developed the Green Charter. The Charter was then certified by Bureau Veritas in 2008, formalising our commitment towards protection of the environment. This commitment forms the basis for Europcar's dedication to implement environmentally conscious processes and procedures within Australian operations. Have 256 fast-charging stations installed across 41 sites across Australia

Europcar Mobility Group Australia, with ARENA funding, will install 256 fast-charging stations across 41 sites, including major airports, supporting 3,100 additional electric rental vehicles over the next three years. The project prioritizes key airports in Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth, making EVs accessible at competitive prices. Europcar will operate these EVs for up to two years before reselling them, lowering the cost barrier for EV adoption. This initiative, in partnership with Ampol, aims to accelerate EV adoption and promote sustainable transportation across Australia.
