Reduce carbon emissions with Tasmanian co-generation plant
We invested in a cogeneration plant at our Ulverstone facility in Tasmania (where Birds Eye Potato products are made). This resulted in a total greenhouse gas emissions reduction of 46% upon its installation. The installation of the gas co-generation plant converted coal-fired boilers to natural gas. Eliminating coal helps decrease our environmental footprint.

Reducing waste at our manufacturing sites
Across all our manufacturing sites, less than 1% of waste produced is sent to landfill, with 99% being reused, repurposed, recycled or recovered.
