BabyLove Sustainability Actions

PEFC Certified Pulp

The use of sustainably sourced materials in our nappies has been certified by PEFC – the world’s leading forest certification system, which plays a critical role in protecting forests around the world through promoting sustainable forest management. This certification ensures that forest-based products have been sourced from a sustainably managed area. This means that everyone – including our little ones – can enjoy our natural environment for many more years to come!

Australasian Recycling Label

All our products have Australasian Recycling Label markers to provide clear on-pack recycling information for our customers!

No added nasties

No added formaldehyde, elemental chlorine, natural rubber latex or other chemicals restricted by Unicharm.

Ethical sourcing

Unicharm implements procurement activities with a focus on crisis management in addition to communication in supply chains throughout the world in response to dramatic changes in awareness and regulations relating to human rights and the environment. In addition, Unicharm conducts a supplier risk assessment when starting new business transactions overseas to determine in advance whether a potential supplier is an appropriate business partner.

Reducing carbon footprint

Unicharm is actively taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint, including installing solar panels at our head office and manufacturing our products in solar powered factories that produce zero waste.
