Australian-owned apparel company Underworks has announced the release of its new eco-friendly and sustainably sourced organic bamboo sock range.
This is another step towards Underworks’ sustainability 2022 mission, offering Australian families sustainable socks at affordable prices, so they too can tread lightly on the planet.
The new bamboo range includes sport and casual socks for the whole family. The fabric is luxuriously soft and breathable, made from natural bamboo fibres, which is non-irritating for the skin – ideal for people with allergies or sensitive skin.
The best part about the new range is that it’s made from one of the eco-friendliest fibres on the planet. Underworks sources Forest Stewardship Council-certified bamboo which is organic, purpose-grown and does not contribute to natural habitat loss or distruction.
The company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability is not only evident in its new bamboo range, but across all of its products, packaging and programs, which are constantly evolving to be more planet-friendly.
Underworks is committed to keeping its prices affordable and chooses not not pass on the additional cost of sustainable fibres to its customers. This commitment comes as part of its endeavour to minimise its environmental footprint for generations to come and remain true to its everyday value promise.
“As a business, we continue to do our part for the environment, and want to prove that sustainable products can be high-quality and accessible for all,” says CEO Sam Todaro.
“The launch of Underworks’ new bamboo range is another step in our journey to be the most planet-friendly company we can be. We are unwaivering in our commitment to the planet – and the people who live in it, our customers.”
