A Sustainability Journey

Including evidence on your profile validates your sustainability efforts and aligns with ACCC’s Greenwashing Guidelines, ensuring that environmental claims are substantiated. Unverified claims can mislead consumers, devalue genuine sustainability efforts, and undermine trust.
What is Evidence?
Evidence includes third-party certifications, accreditation reports, and formal documentation that confirm your sustainability claims. Validating your efforts avoids greenwashing and builds consumer trust.
Adding Evidence to Your Sustainability Tracker Profile
The ‘Evidence’ feature on Sustainability Tracker allows you to upload supporting documents to your profile. This enhances transparency, boosts credibility, and helps certified businesses stand out.
3. Upload a PDF or JPG file (max 5 MB). Select the appropriate evidence type and document provider (if applicable).
4. Name the file clearly and save your changes.
You can also link your evidence to specific actions, product lifecycles, or labels on your profile. This ensures your claims are backed up by proof, and visible to all readers.
After uploading and linking your evidence, click ‘Done Editing’ to save everything. By building a strong evidence library, you foster transparency, accountability, and trust with consumers while supporting sustainable practices.
